   I was visiting my cousin, who had just purchased his first home. I asked him if he needed anything, and without missing a beat he declared: a set of good pots and pans. And fortunately or me, he had done his research and requested the Ninja Foodi 11-piece cookware set, in grey. Done. They even arrived while I was still visiting, so he prepared an inaugural meal with them. When I got home several days later, I ordered a set in red. And I love them. They are incredibly easy to maintain. They heat well and evenly, and are oven-safe to 500 degrees. They “behave” like cookware at significantly less cost. I usually reserve the word “love” for the people in my life, but I am happy to declare my love for the Ninja Foodi.

   I e had this set for 6 months. I loved it at first, easy to clean, truly non stick. I just discovered that the enamel/top coating is peeling off. No problem, I thought, ninja offers a 5 year warranty. Not really. After being transferred 3 times, they want to charge me $20 to replace one pan for shipping. Ninja sells defective merchandise by boasting a 5 year warranty and then make the consumer pay for shipping? That’s not right. They should stand behind their products if they’re going to promise they don’t peel, when they do! None of my pots and pans have ever been in the oven and they’re still starting to peel. Very disappointed.

   I am a sucker for infomercial and have tried red copper and black diamond. This beats all hands down for no-stick, easy clean, longevity and no chemical smell while cooking. I feel like I actually taste more of real food. I have my own and have now purchased for friends.

    So far, 1 month later, these pans are doing better than every other cook set we have tried in the past 3 years. My husband likes to cook his breakfast all in the same pan at the same time (eggs, bacon, hashbrown patty) and with other pans everything would stick and make a lovely mess for me to scrub out. With these pans, it seems, that as long you preheat the pan before EVERY use (meaning put NOTHING in the pan, let the pan heat and THEN put your butter/oil/whatever in the pan after the pan has heated with nothing in it for about 2-3 minutes (until a drop of water sizzles in the pan)(per Ninja directions)) then it really is non stick, so far.

    Heavy duty, food never sticks, really can’t say anything negative about it. I loved it so much, that I bought several more. I kept washing it and wouldn’t any of my other pans now that I love these foodi products
