   We needed a new slow cooker and I wanted something better than the $20 Walmart special. But this has exceeded our expectations. Our electric cooktop recently died, and we replaced it with a gas cooktop. But while we were waiting for the new gas line to be run, we had no stove at all. No problem, we were able to cook most of our usual menu in the Ninja. I will say, the low/high slow cooker settings are a bit extreme in both directions. But you can also just dial in whatever temperature you want with the bake setting, so…hard to complain about that.

   Hopefully your dishwasher can handle this size
   I have two complaints
   1) The handles on the sides of the pot make it very difficult to put in the dishwasher
   2) When cooking the glass lid needs a temperature resistant handle to be able to check the food without burning yourself.

   I have only used this pot 5, 6 times and the inside is chipped diffusely using ONLY APPROPRIATE utensils. On slow cook there’s only A LOW or HIGH and it’s either being kept warm or boiling. Bad product cheaply made. Sincerely

   It’s big enough to cook a med size brisket (carne guisada) with room to spair. I also like that it has other features. It will be my go to crockpot.

    I love this! I have not explored all features yet, but I love the sauté feature. I can truly make one-pot meals by sautéing and slow cooking in the same pot. I’ve thrown out my other crock pots.

    I love the keep warm feature as well.

    Let me first say I absolutely love this product! It is beautiful and functional. It cooks better than any similar product I have ever used, and I am a crockpot lover! I love it so much that I bought two more for family members I have probably used this product ten times. The coating is already chipping off in multiple places. First, the lid is chipping the coating at the top rim. I do realize that this will happen over time, but I also think that the lid should be more compatible with the product so that the chipping does not start happening this soon. Second, inside is chipping where the legs of the rack (that comes with the cooker) sits. I did see just today that there’s a silicone mat for the bottom. If something like this should be used with the rack, then they should be sold together. Also, I’m not one that likes to cook with silicone, plastic, etc. Third, it is scratching on the outside. I realize this is not ninjas fault, but with the level of care that we have shown this product, it seems very strange that there’s a scratch on it. Combine this with the other two surface, scratching issues, and I do think that there’s a surface problem with this product. These are things that I would expect from normal wear and tear over a period of time, but I’ve not had this product long enough to see this type of reaction. We treat it very well. It is washed with care, and I only used approved utensils on it. This is by far my favorite kitchen product I have ever owned, and I really hope that ninja finds a way to fix these issues. Plain and simple, this should not be happening with the amount of times we’ve used this. If you asked me three weeks ago, I would’ve given this thing 700 stars. This coating chipping off, especially on the inside since I have only used the rack a couple of times, should not be happening with this amount of uses.
