   I use mine to make snow for my daughter to eat. This turns crushed ice into snow in seconds. You could even add flavor to make snow cones. Crushing the ice can be loud at first, I put a towel around it to quiet it down.

    If you have an older version of this you better keep it until it quits. This newer edition is terrible. Tried to use and it wouldn’t work, I kept moving the head around thinking it wasn’t sealed but it was. It finally started working but it barely moved. I emptied out the container and used my old one and zipped right through.
