  • I am a Ninja fan and have quite a few of their product which I love. When I discovered the Crispi air fryer, I was hesitant to buy it since I have the dual air fryer and a couple of other Ninja appliance that also do a good job at air frying. Even so, I was intrigued by the price that is lower than most Ninja appliances, and decided to try it. I figured I could return it if I didn't like it. As it turns out, I love it. Since I have other appliances that perform the same functions, it's not something I will be using every day. Yet the smaller size of the containers are very useful when you don't need a larger oven or other appliance for the cooking task. So, what are the pros and cons of this air fryer and would it be useful for you. Pros: 1) It includes two glass cooking containers, 6 cup and 4 quart, that can withstand temperatures of up to 450 degrees. I have used both containers and it not find any problems with maintaining temperature in the larger container as reported by another buyer. 2) Lids for both containers are included for storing leftovers, but I doubt I will ever use the lids. 3) Both containers include crisper plates that elevate food from the bottom of the containers so that air circulates around the food for even cooking. 4) The entire unit with all of the accessories nests together, so it really doesn't take much storage space. 5) Since the containers are smaller than an oven, they heat up much more quickly and cook food faster. 6) Includes a recipe book with recipe ideas and charts for cooking a number of foods in both container sizes. Personally, I doubt I will use the recipes, but the cooking charts are very useful since this unit heats fast and maintains temperatures better than some other cooking options. 7) The glass containers and crisper plates are very easy to clean. Warm soapy water and a wash rag is usually all that is needed for thorough cleaning. In addition, these items are all dishwasher safe. 8) Super easy to use. Select a mode, recrisp, bake, air fry, or max crisp. Cons: 1) Since the bases cannot be separated from the glass bowls, it could be difficult to clean the underside of the bowls around and above the base. So far, I have not had anything get onto the underside of the bowls, so this hasn't been a problem. I have been cleaning the bowls by hand since they are so easy to clean. Since the bowls and bases are dishwasher safe, washing in the dishwasher would resolve this problem. 2) Specific cooking temperatures cannot be chosen. Each mode has a temperature range that can't be changed. So far, this hasn't been a problem for me since I choose the mode by temperature range rather than by function. Bake has the lowest temperature range and is supposed to supply gentler heating. This mode works best for foods that you don't want to use the higher temperatures used for air frying, such as seafood. Tonight, I reheated a large stuffed pepper that had been cut in half when it was partially thawed. In the past, I reheated these peppers cut in half in an oven and in a small casserole dish. As the peppers reheated, they sat in the juices released by the peppers and meat in the peppers. I used the 6 cup container, put the pepper halves on the crisper plate, and the juices were collected below the plate. I heated the peppers using the bake mode for 10 minutes to complete the thawing. After we ate our salads, I baked the peppers another 10 minutes to reheat them, and added BBQ sauce in the last 5 minutes. They came out wonderful. Some of the top of the meat was a bit crisped, and the BBQ sauce was well heated. Judging from this experience, I don't think I would recommend cooking a 4 lb. chicken in this cooker since it would be so close to the heating element, but a 3 lb. would work fine. It should be baked first on the back side and then turned to cook on the top side. When almost to 165 degrees, it should be air fried a few minutes to crisp the skin. This appliance shines for so many uses, and would be perfect when cooking for 1-4 people depending on what is being cooked. My husband's cooking abilities are limited to the microwave and the toaster, and even he could use this appliance without feeling challenged. UPDATE 12/05/24: Tonight, I made a couple of lemon pepper chicken thighs for dinner. Since the thighs were small, I decided to use the small bowl of the Crispi to air fry them, and used a wireless probe to monitor the internal temperature of the thighs. I set the done temperature on the probe app to 165 degrees, used the air fry mode on the Crispi and set the time to 15 minutes since I wasn't sure how long it would take to cook the thighs. I started the cooking with the skin side down and turned the thighs when the internal temperature was at 100 degrees to brown and crisp the skin. It took 13 minutes to fully cook the thighs. They were well browned and very moist. I will definitely be using the Crispi in the future for cooking foods that don't require the space of a larger oven. I will update this review if my opinion changes. At this time, I would recommend this air fryer if you feel it would be useful for you. I hope this review was helpful for you.

  • This product is hazardous to health. I bought this product because of the brand name. Thinking it would be healthy. Unfortunately, within two months of purchase ( September - November), the pot's under coating got swollen and started peeling. I had to throw away a full pot of food because of the particles (debris) from the pot. Moreover, at low heat, it gets the food burnt but it neversticks. Please do not buy this product for your betterment.

Bought a similar model from Bodum years ago and then when I needed a new one they had changed their model to a flat plastic foamer which doesn’t work at all. I’ve been using my old cracked one for years now and was contemplating how to go about fashioning new parts myself. I decided to do another search on ninjaoutlets.com, and whala, I found this model. It arrived in a day or two as they promised and I was happy to see that it is almost exactly the same as my old one. It works just as well at foaming minus one small detail. The height of the container is just enough shorter that foam squirts out the top. The old model does that too if you overfill it, but holds more to begin with so you can make more foam altogether. I am still playing with the new model. If I find I really need that extra space, the great thing is, I can just move the end to my old model and have the taller container. So, my only suggestion is just that they make the container a bit taller. I am otherwise very pleased with this purchase and will definitely buy again. As a foam addict, the only way to foam milk is with one of these devices. I am very grateful to have found a quality replacement!! .

  • Arrived fast! I haven't tested it yet, but it's full of details, marks, as if it had already been used, strange. But that’s ok

  • I ordered two blenders that were supposed to come with four to-go cups like advertised, but both only came with one.

  • Product description says it holds up to 48 cans! That's ONLY if it's got no ice in it! It recommends 15 POUNDS of ice for best performance. Once you add the ice, you're lucky to get 12 cans in the cooler. A bit disappointed on the cooler portion, it's VERY small!!

  • I bought it for its 8-qt size and sous vide ability. It has not disappointed and gone beyond my expectations. Love the sous vide, the steam, and the sauté mode. I also like the bake and the braise modes. I didn’t really buy it for the slow cooker mode, so can’t give an opinion on that. Here is a pic of the sous vide food. I have also done over easy eggs in it.

  • I waited more than a year to write a review because our experiences with coffee makers have been marginal and I wanted to make sure this was a keeper. Well, we love it!! It has taken the #2 spot amongst our favored counter top appliances, only coming in second because a girl has to have a certain loyalty to her Kitchen Aid Pro Series mixer. That being said, this coffee maker brews a wonderfully hot mug of coffee every time. Need I say more? Yes, I do! Fresh grounds and iced coffee are just as reliably great. The water reservoir is large enough to be useful, the brew time is reasonably quick and quiet. Clean up is a breeze. Its size means it doesn’t take up a lot of space on the counter. You will not regret buying this coffee maker.

  • After having this chopper for more then 10 years I can honestly say I LOVE IT‼️ The bowl has a slight crack as you can see in the photo submitted which has never leaked in all this time. Work to my expectations in all abusing cooking I have put it under. One very important thing is to make sure you scrub it clean especially the motor base after each use. I undoubtedly recommend it ❤️❤️❤️

  • After my vitamix was stolen, I was lost. Drifting in the a sea of solid food, I no longer lived life confident that no matter what life might bring me, I can blend it to a perfect smooth consistency. Then, as one does, I decided that smoothies would make my life better. So I went window shopping, and thought surely, this little blender can handle 3 smoothies and then go on the appliance shelf to be used maybe 7 times a year. And smoothies, it does great. Frozen smoothie bowl things, sure. It can do even more, grind spices including whole peppercorns? Sure. Hummus? No problem, life is too short to mince my garlic first, nothing remains of that whole clove I tossed in. Great little blender especially at this price It is loud tho, I miss my vitamix.

  • Not bad especially for convenience. It’s a great option for lightweight shakes. Wouldn’t recommend for thicker shakes that include heavy peanut butter or oatmeal. I use the two and it consistently jams but overall, it’s a great blender so far

  • I'll preface by saying I've used this grill extensively, and as a product designer myself, it was impossible to not be constantly bothered by the silly, nonsensical design choices made in this grill. Overall, it's super quick to start, easy to get going, cooks amazingly for what it is, but the user experience could be improved quite a bit. In theory, the grill tries to guide you along to do the right thing at the right time and make it stupid-baby-simple, but in practice, it obscures the simplicity of its functions, makes what you're trying to do annoying, and forces users to fight against the grill to do what they want. First, the knob for the mode selector. If you touch it in the middle of cooking and change a setting, which is quite easy to do, everything resets. I've had this happen more than once and it's very frustrating. I've also accidentally went from the "grill" setting to "off" a couple times by accident which just shouldn't be possible. This should be a much more rigid knob at the least, and the on/off switch should be a totally separate function. Alternatively, if you try to change a setting during cooking, the display should ask you if you actually want to change cooking modes and hit start to confirm. Second, the woodsmoke button is weird and not intuitive. You have to enable woodsmoke by pressing the button BEFORE pressing start or it won't ignite. There is a way to turn it on mid-grill by pressing and holding the woodsmoke button until it starts flashing but this isn't obvious and also doesn't seem to work as well. This should simply be an on/off switch on its own circuit and operate independently from the rest of the unit. There are times when I don't want to start smoking until later, or want to cut off the smoke when I think it's had enough, and I really can't do that unless I reset the grill and go through the motions again to get it running with the right settings. Next, temperature. Why is there not a thermometer reading on the interface or the shell of the grill so that you know what the air temp inside is? It absolutely has a thermoregulator because there's a preheat function that will change its progress bar if the grill is already hot when you begin the preheat, so its measuring something in there, but we aren't allowed to see it! Silly! The meat thermometer is nice and works well but sometimes I'm not cooking meats and still want a temp reading in there... Cooking... For whatever reason, the grill (and possibly other) setting adds in a random "FLIP FOOD" beep that triggers at half of whatever your grill time was when you set it. This is almost never correct, gets your attention for no reason, and won't go away until you lift and close the lid. Get rid of this dumb "feature". Because this is essentially an air fryer, almost every setting wants to utilize the internal fan. Depending on what you're cooking this can be really annoying. I've cooked pancakes on this using the flat top add-on, and when the fan kicks in, it makes the pancakes slide and fly around inside the grill. makes a huge mess. you have to stand there and lift and close the lid every time the fan kicks on. Please add a "griddle" setting or something that will not use the fans, or will only spin them a tiny bit. THE BEEPS - my god this thing likes to beep. it sings beeps all the time. Chill with the beeps unless the preheat is done or the timer is done. There's no other reason to bother me. Overall, I still really like it, it does cook very well despite its size and it basically being an air fryer. I've smoked pork to success, made pizzas, pancakes, bacon & eggs, anything you can think of, and it CAN yield great results... It really would be the perfect little electric grill if it would just shut the F up and let me use its functions the way I want to instead of pretending that it's helping me. Lastly.... "WOODFIRE" is a F'ing stupid misleading title for this thing. It's just not a woodfire grill. Factually, it is not the thing that it is called. That makes no sense and misleads users. This should have been called WOODSMOKE!!! Come on!!!

  • Blades are really sharp. So far impressed with the few smoothies I've made with frozen fruit. I would recommend hand washing not dishwasher if you want it to last cause it's plastic! Highly recommend

  • I now have 2 of these Ninja Choppers, one for camper and one for home. They are powerful, easy to use, and easy to clean. Fast delivery!

  • I am a Ninja fan. I do not care what it is, when selecting brand I always stop on Ninja. This time I am disappointed for a few reasons. Most disappointing quality, or lack of, is the handles to the lids get blazing hot. So I purchased a lid remover, a wooden stick that resembles a paint stir stick. Next on the list is the handles to each pan, byou may as well know right up front they are useless. You must scoop everything out of the pans because you cannot pick it up and pour. The pan handles are round with no grip on the surface. So you lift the pan and when attempting to pour the contents from the pan, it just spins on your hand. The last thing is really not a big deal, the outer surface of the pan, the sides, do not clean well and dark drippy lines appear almost immediately. I guess if the pans weren't so expensive, this would not be an issue. For the money that is charged, they should research consumer concerns. I will truthfully describe the cooking surface of each pan is awesome. J am pleased with that feature of the Ninja pans. I took a picture of the handle where it meets the pan, this is very hard to clean.
