  • Like other reviewers, I REALLY wanted to like this Ninja. It's so easy to use/ store, has multiple vessels, super fast and powerful, blades ridiculously sharp, fantastic price - but at the end of the day, if the parts fail, then it's no good. I literally used this thing from the moment I received it and unboxed it - every day. It was working great - blending and chopping everything I threw at it - plus, because it is top rack dishwasher safe, cleanup was a snap. Then less than 2 weeks in, I notice a small crack on the base of the 40oz processor bowl starting from the center where the blade housing sits (Incidentally, this is the vessel I use the most by far). And sure enough, just like the windshield on your car that got smacked by a bouncing pea-sized missile, the crack started to grow and turned into a giant fissure covering the entire base. 2 weeks? Really? So disappointing. Luckily, I am able to return to ninjaoutlets.com for credit, but I'm not sure that I want to order this same model again....Maybe if I hand wash the plastic containers instead of throwing them in the dishwasher, it will last longer, but I can't help but feel skeptical. Buyer beware...… ***********UPDATE AUG 2019*********** ============================== I contacted ninjaoutlets.com directly to work out a solution for the cracked container. The service representative was very helpful, professional and responsive. ninjaoutlets.com could not replace the piece, but directed me to call Ninja for parts replacement. The ninjaoutlets.com rep DID try calling Ninja Corporate while he had me on hold, but Ninja requires the customer to make the call. I immediately called Ninja and spoke to a rep right away. Again, very helpful, friendly and responsive. They allowed me a "one time exemption" to replace the blender container as the purchase was made so recently. Very pleased with both ninjaoutlets.com and Ninja customer support! As such, I have changed my review from 2 stars to 4. I'm still concerned long term for the plastic materials.....

  • I make a smoothie every day for lunch, and I've been through two smoothie blenders that only lasted a few months each. This one is much better! But after the smoothie is made it's REALLY hard to unscrew the top! I have to use the quick grip tool, which now stays in the kitchen drawer instead of the garage. I hope I don't break off the little plastic notches that lock the smoothie container to the motor

This is my favorite Grill to use!!! I only use it to cook red meat. One of my best tips I can give is don’t flip your meat!! Who needs Grill marks on both sides? Can have a 16 ounce steak at medium rare and around eight minutes!! Pretty darn impressive!! Attached are a few pictures of my perfect ribeye steaks!! I have also reviewed my secret ingredient to a perfect ribeye steak using the ninja foodie grill; elote corn seasoning!!! S/P Both sides, Sprinkle with Elote corn seasoning on top side, Do not flip, Cook to your Desired temperature. Plate with Kerry Gold butter, place steak on top!

  • This is now the third time in my life I've tried a home ice cream maker. Well, third time is the charm! This machine is AMAZING! The chocolate hazelnut gelato you see pictured above is made with skim milk and sweetened with allulose, making it low calorie while still completely delicious and creamy. How the machine gets skim milk so creamy I have no idea! It's even better if you use a little half and half. The pint I made tonight was 315 calories for the whole pint, and it has exactly what I want in it. I hate all other non-sugar sweeteners, and I prefer not to have tons of fat and sugar. Here are the advantages of the Creami over my discarded ice cream makers of the past: --it seems to be nearly fool proof. You won't always get a great result if you're just winging it, but you do generally end up with actual ice cream. In the other ice cream makers, if you got the proportions wrong, it would sometimes not really freeze or it would get icy. --It's so much easier to get the ice cream out and to clean! The ice cream maker I had with a compressor was such a pain--you had to get the ice cream out around the paddle, or dig the paddle out of the ice cream, and invariably you end up making a mess. The Creami pints are so much easier to deal with. Even the lid, which is a little more annoying, is pretty easy to clean once you know what to do. (Read the manual, even though you have to go online to get it--it's important to take out the rubber gasket and clean under it.) --It doesn't matter if you have leftovers that freeze hard as a rock. We never enjoyed eating ice cream from our other makers on the next day, because they always hardened so much in the freezer. (And you had to make so much we always had leftovers.) With the Creami, if the leftovers freeze hard, you can just process them again and have just as good an experience the next day. The only real downsides I can see are 1) you have to wait 24 hours for your pint to freeze before you can make it into ice cream, and 2) the horrendous noise the machine makes. It's seriously loud, and the sound changes in alarming ways as the blade makes its way down and back up. The first few times I ran it, I was afraid something was going to break or blow up or something. I am now starting to get used to it and know the weird noises are normal. Dealing with the racket is totally worth it! If you've tried an ice cream maker before and decided it wasn't worth the hassle, give this one a try. It's wonderful!

  • Hi i’m an student and love goood tasty. I prepared videos and photos for another potential customer today. (14.Dec.2024) First at all, the delivery is no-brainer Pretty fast, and undamaged. In terms of usability, 8.8/10 Sometimes, it didn’t grind finely, especially when the ingredients were light. As you can see in the my made video, frozen and hard items like strawberries don’t blend easily. You have to hold and shake it manually to get it to work properly. Was my score too strict? Actually Considering the price, convenience, and overall factors, I’m willing to adjust my score to 9.4. Lol (In the video, I used plastic wrap instead of a lid just because it was more convenient! I don’t wanna do the dishes. ) For the battery aspect, i don’t know yet sorry But it’s might good I thk In terms of size, I live alone and don’t make smoothies often - no complaints. It’s a good size – doesn’t take up much space and is CUTE <3 In terms of color options, I appreciate that there are plenty to choose from as a consumer. I got the champagne color. The only downside I see is••• that it would be great if they made a lid accessory to separate the blades and cup parts! I’m really picky about not having a lid 😭😭 My journey for kitchen tools continues-.

  • Too noisy. Motor is like motocycle, lid is hard to clean. If you blend for a soup, salsa or a shake, it’s a mess clean it up, too many folds. Although it blends amazingly, it’s too bulky and unpractical. I wish I bought another model.

I am a ice Eater and I use this to make powdered ice so delicious

  • This thing is small, perfect for two people, no temperature control, just on or off. We've been really good about cleaning and what we use to clean it with, the surface coating on the removable tray is coming off, which means we're slowly eating the coating. 3 stars for eating non stick material, no temp control.

everything i read about this was true. it simply pushes food to container walls, forcing too much scraping pros - it costs 1/5 of a vitamix it does blend basic smoothies decently, albeit never smooth but with enough liquid, my spinach or kale smoothie was decent. has plenty of power for most tasks Cons it is CHEAPLY made - ive seen $60 oster blenders better built - in fact there is a $60 oster blender that is highly reccomended by many sites for a basic blender. The lid is hard plastic the lid seal is very thin silcone/rubber - i can easily see this deteriorating within months of even hand washing (despite claims to dishwaster safeness - many reviews state this melts or deforms in dishwasher) the lid is simply too complicated the lid does not let you add anything to blender without removing entire lid the lid while it does form a seal after you connect the lid to handle/pitcher, this makes it splatter smoothie all over the place when you remove the lid unless you very carefully remove lid - never had this issue with the kitchenaid blender (that blender had other issues). the motor and base are lightweight meaning cheaply made and compared against the kitchen $100 blender was too light. the ninja does offer a detachable plastic base to better secure this unit however, that base is not made for multiple disconnecting from main unit - connection pieces are again cheap plastic LOUD. but this is not really too bad of a con because all powerful blenders are LOUD. i wear ear plugs. the gear/connection piece on motor/base and pitchers are PLASTIC and very small grooves which means this could be prone to failure/grinding/slipping. the blades are attached to the plastic middle tower however, i'm not very confident in those blades remaining a part of that tower more than a couple years of heavy regular use but maybe its fine. i do not like having the rmeovable tower - it makes cleanup a real chore and its dangerous having those blades easily coming out of the pitcher. finally, the biggest problem remains the very design of the ninja: having the tower of blades in the middle robs the blender of the vortex action that occurs in EVERY major consumer and commercial blender on the market. I appreciate innovation but I also value not reinventing a perfectly good to excellent wheel. Smoothies are rarely smoothies but more chunky no matter how long you run it. Despite $20 worth of almonds and peanuts (two seperate trials) i could not get the ninja to make nut butter. this is probably user error as ive seen many videso accomplishing this task. but i want simple and this ninja is not simple. the verdict? avoid and buy a $60 oster. if you really want a real smoothie then id strongly recommend investing in a factory certified reconditioned vitamix as im about to do! $400 gets you a machine that will last a lifetime. search ebay - there are tons of vitamix's from the 60's still running strong! There is a reason nearly every reviewer, green smoothie expert loves their vitamixes. If you don't plan on making daily green smoothies like i do then maybe the ninja will do you fine...

  • Today was the 1st time I used this for grilling steaks & I'm impressed with the sear! I cooked these steaks for a couple of minutes on each side. I like especially that this fryer/grill goes up to 510 degrees unlike my prior one. I'll update as I make more!

Most amazing blender I've ever seen!!!!!

  • The original coffee maker was faulty. The espresso pod compartment was a little out of alignment and could not puncture the pods- this is a semi common issue with this coffee maker system and a big deal since part of the allure is to be able to make espresso drinks. The “pause” function on the brewed coffee side also did not work. Coffee would continue to leak out onto the warming plate after the lever was in place. I ended up returning my original purchase and buying another one. The new one has worked great! It is kind of a bulky machine but it does look very nice.

  • I can’t even believe what a tremendous deal this was. Yes, it is bright red and maybe that’s why the price was so low. The color suits my mid-century, bachelor kitchen just fine. It is genuine Ninja Foodie and I didn’t even realize the 12 inch frying pan was coming with it. This is a really nice set and I’m really pleased with it. I already own a Ninja wok and 8 inch fry pan along with a knife so I’m sold on the product. I just can’t believe the value.
